12 people, including opposition leader, detained at rally outside Parliament
12 people were detained at a protest rally outside the Parliament building in Tbilisi on Thursday morning, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia said.
“Police have arrested 12 people for administrative violations during a rally near the Parliament building. These persons are detained for violations under Articles 173 (disobedience to law enforcement officers) and 166 (petty hooliganism), ”the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
Giorgi Vashadze, one of the opposition leaders, is among the detainees.
