MIA launches investigation into incident in Parliament

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation into the fact of pouring unknown substance in the parliament building, the Ministry told InterPressNews.

"The investigation into the incident that that took place in the Parliament started under Article 117 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which involves intentional infliction of serious damage to health," the Interior Ministry said.

Expert criminalists are working in the Parliament's sitting hall to identify the substance that was poured in the building.
