Court: Gigi Ugulava has to pay GEL 2,000 bail, hand over his ID and passport to investigating agency

GEL 2,000 bail has been ordered for one of the leaders of European Georgia, Gigi Ugulava. The verdict was announced by Zviad Sharadze, judge of the Tbilisi City Court.

Ugulava has 30 days to pay the bail. At the same time, according to the judge's decision, Ugulava should hand over his ID and passport to the investigating agency.

The pre-trial hearing is scheduled for January 30, 2020.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Giga Ugashvili and one of the participants of the physical conflict at Tbilisi airport were charged with violence, while Goka Gabashvili and another person involved in the incident were declared victims.
