Raul Khajimba signs decree on his resignation

De-facto president of occupied Abkhazia Raul Khajimba has signed a decree on his resignation, "Sputnik" agency has reported.

Former de-facto foreign minister Sergei Shamba came out with the protesters and read the statement. Those gathered at the so-called government’s house applauded after Shamba made the announcement.

Earlier today, Abkhazia’s “election administration” announced repeated “presidential elections” to take place on March 22. The announcement came two days after “the appeals chamber” of the “supreme court” annulled the results of September 8 ‘’presidential runoff”.
