Georgia’s foreign trade turnover increased by 2.7 % in 2019 y/y, reaching USD 12 834.7 million, according to the preliminary figures released by the state statistics office, Geostat, on January 14.
Exports from Georgia increased by 12.4% year-on-year to USD 3 771.5 million and imports were up by 0.8% y/y to USD 9 063.2 million in 2019, with trade gap standing at USD 5 291.8 million.
