We call on the de facto authorities to allow normal lives for the local population, - US Chargé d’Affaires Elizabeth Rood said at the opening ceremony of a rehabilitated public school in the village of Kveshi, Gori district, near the dividing line.

She congratulated the villagers on the opening of the school and thanked the donor organizations for financial assistance.

“We once again call on the de facto authorities to open the crossing points along the ABL to allow freedom of movement, to allow humanitarian access, to allow the people in Tskhinvali region to reach necessary medical care and to live normal lives," Elizabeth Rood said.
