Zviad Kuprava, Lasha Tsutskiridze fined GEL 600 each

Zviad Kuprava, head of the Law Enforcement Reform Center, and Lasha Tsutskiridze, who were detained for administrative violations today, have been fined GEL 600, each.

Judge Tamar Okropiridze found them guilty of violating Article 166, involving a minor hooliganism.

Zviad Kuprava and Lasha Tsutskiridze were detained on the charges under Articles 166 and 173 of the Administrative Code of Georgia.

Zviad Kuprava, together with his supporters, was detained when rallying outside the General Prosecutor’s Office, protesting against possible return of Irakli Shotadze to the position of the Prosecutor General of Georgia.
