Georgian Embassy in China warns citizens to avoid travel to Wuhan

In connection with a new coronavirus spread in China, the Embassy of Georgia in the People's Republic of China calls on the citizens of Georgia to refrain from traveling to the city of Wuhan as it is considered as a source of infection.

The embassy has released a statement, calling on the citizens to use medical face masks while traveling to China and to stay away from crowded places.

“Please be advised that the risk of spreading the virus was rated as 'high'. In this regard, the Embassy urges Georgian citizens to use medical face masks while traveling to China and to stay away from crowded places.

Currently, no travel ban is imposed in the People's Republic of China.
