Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu: Turkey has always supported Georgia's accession to NATO, while France and Germany cannot take this step

Turkey has always supported Georgia's accession to NATO, while Germany and France are afraid of it, - Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said in an interview with the Bild newspaper, according to Turkish media.

"Turkey has always supported Georgia's accession to NATO, while France and Germany cannot take this step to avoid Russia's dissatisfaction," Çavuşoğlu said.

He also said that Ankara cannot reach an agreement with Moscow over the Crimea issue either, because it considers it to be a Ukrainian territory.
