Georgian Ambassador to China says evacuation of Georgian citizens from China is not necessary at this stage

According to Archil Kalandia, Georgian Ambassador to the Republic of China, the issue of evacuation of Georgian citizens from China is not being considered at this stage.

As Archil Kalandia told InterPressNews, unprecedented measures are being taken in various regions of China.

"We are in constant contact with our partner states and we will take appropriate action as soon as necessary. According to the consultations and negotiations with the Chinese side, there is no need for this at this stage. As for the rest, our fellow citizens can return home any time," said Archil Kalandia.
