Paata Imnadze, Head of the Scientific Board at National Center for Disease Control, says the 22-year-old girl, who arrived in Georgia from China on January 22 and showedthe symptoms of a viral infection, is not infected with coronavirus.
Imnadze explained that the girl, who is the citizen of Georgia, returned from one of the Chinese provinces when no case of coronavirus was confirmed outside Wuhan province in China.
He said the girl is being monitored to determine the type of the virus she had been injected with.
Paata Imnadze said the girls is not in a medically bad state.
