Occupied Tskhinvali seeks humanitarian aid from Russia

The authorities of occupied Tskhinvali region has asked Russia's PM Mikhail Mishustin to provide the “Republic” with humanitarian assistance and to supply it with medical products, so-called health minister Georgi Totchiev said at the meeting of so-called cabinet of ministers.

"We suggest you to prepare an appeal to Mikhail Mishustin to provide humanitarian assistance to South Ossetia, which includes a list of necessary medical supplies," Totchiev said.

According to Ossetian media reports, Tskhinvali there is the shortage of face masks in Tskhinvali drug stores and prices have increased 20 times on them.

The government of Russia has today imposed restriction on the export of certain medical supplies, including face masks.
