Movement at Sarpi customs checkpoint temporarily restricted

By the joint decision of the governments of Georgia and Turkey, movement at the Sarpi customs checkpoint has been temporarily restricted.

According to the Georgian government's press office, the restriction will not apply to freight traffic.

"It is noteworthy that air travel to Turkey will continue as usual, as well as the customs checkpoints of Vale and Kartsakhi will operate in a usual way," it said.
