Kremlin reports first case of coronavirus

The Kremlin has reported the first coronavirus case, but added that the infected staff member did not have contact with the President.

"This is true. All necessary sanitary and epidemiological measures are now being taken to prevent the further spread of the virus," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

He also admitted that he was attending the party, where Lev Leshchenko who later tested positive for coronavirus, was present.“Yes, I was there, I did not see Leshchenko. He was probably gone. I have not shaken anybody’s hand and it was two weeks ago,” Peskov said.
