Deputy Interior Minister: 125 violations of the state of emergency have been reported in the last .24 hours

96 citizens have been fined for gathering in the public space (more than 10 people) in the last 24 hours, - Deputy Interior Minister Vladimir Borsvadze said at the briefing at the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to him, a total of 125 violations of the state of emergency have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours.

“As a result of the strict monitoring carried out by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 125 violations of the state of emergency have been detected in all regions of Georgia in the last 24 hours.

96 citizens were fined for gathering in public spaces (more than 10 people). 3 legal entities and 8 individuals were fined for violation of restrictions on economic activities. 5 persons were fined for carrying passengers by minibus from one city to another city, while 13 persons were fined for violating isolation and quarantine.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs calls on citizens to abide by the restrictions imposed within the framework of the state of emergency, otherwise the measures provided by law will be applied”, Botsvadze said.
