President: We are now entering a new phase, which may be much harder, so everyone should be ready for it

President Salome Zourabichvili received information about the situation at the checkpoint near Marneuli municipality, where representatives of the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Georgian Defense Forces are deployed.

The President expressed her gratitude to representatives of the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Defense Forces, who work tirelessly, day and night in a collaborative and organized manner and make major contribution to the fight against coronavirus.

"Every citizen in every region of the country is protected equally. Many people have been tested here, which means that every measure is being taken to ensure that people are protected as much as possible.

We are now entering a new phase, which may be much harder, so everyone should be ready for it. We all need to be more careful about each other, because the state may do everything, but it is enough for one person to violate the rules and this can have a very serious effect.

By coming here today, first of all, I wanted to thank those who are fighting for us and also to warn everyone - we are now at a new stage of struggle, when we all need to be cautious and be aware that we are all responsible for each other's health," he said.
