Georgia bans people over 70 from going out

All people over 70 years old will be barred from going out in Georgia, Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said at a briefing today.

According to him, citizens over 70 years old will be allowed out only if they go to the nearest market, pharmacy or hospital.

“If our citizens over the age of 70 are lonely, the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Health and local municipalities are obliged to assist them, ”Giorgi Gakharia said.
