The government will plan the form of holding the Easter holiday in agreement with the Patriarchate, Vakhtang Gomelauri, Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, said.
Asked when the gathering of more than three people is banned under the declared state of emergency how the Easter holiday will be held and whether the government is in coordination with the Patriarchate, Gomelauri replied: “We are in coordination with the Patriarchate, not just the Interior Ministry, but the government as a whole. Easter is coming, though it's still two weeks ahead us. We will reconcile the form of holding the holiday. We are waiting! Nobody knows what will happen in two weeks, no one in the world knows, and we couldn't really plan everything in advance,” Minister Gomelauri said.
