Some subscribers of Georgian mobile operators have recently received cell phone messages on behalf of UCKEBA (agency) with the following content: "You have been fined GEL 3000 for breaking the curfew. R.M. police.ge".

“The above text messages have not been sent by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and are not true.

The aforementioned and other similar facts are being investigated, which will be followed by appropriate response in accordance with the legislation of Georgia,” reads the statement of the Ministry.
