Ambulance doctor in Tbilisi tests positive for coronavirus

An ambulance doctor in Tbilisi has been tested positive for the novel coronavirus, Amiran Gogitidze, Head of Department of Medical Assistance and Call Management, said on Friday evening.

He said the doctor has been infected from spouse.

“An ambulance doctor has been tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The doctor was infected after contracting virus from her spouse. The source of the infection is the National Bank cluster. All persons, who have been in contact with the infected doctor, are self-isolated,” Amiran Gogitidze said.
