Additional flights to be carried out to bring Georgian citizens from different countries
Additional flights will be carried out to bring Georgian citizens from different coronavirus-hit areas.
As the Foreign Ministry said the schedule of the additional flights is the following:
April 16 – Paris-Tbilisi
April 18 –Tel Aviv –Tbilisi
April 21 – Rome-Tbilisi.
The flights will be operated by the Georgian Airways.
By the decision of the Interagency Coordination Council the price of the ticket should not be more than €199.
All passengers will be placed under quarantine for 14 days after returning to the country.
The Georgian government has brought back up to 5 000 Georgian citizens from different coronavirus-hit areas, including from China, Italy, Iran, Poland, Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Belarus, the Netherlands, Egypt, Azerbaijan and Armenia, since the COVID-19 outbreak began worldwide.
