The first case of the novel coronavirus was confirmed in the occupied region of Abkhazia, Sputnik Abkhazia has reported referring to Abkhazia’s chief sanitation officer Lyudmila Skorik.
“The patient is hospitalized and isolated. Currently his condition is satisfactory. The patient has arrived from Moscow, where he was on a business trip, " Lyudmila Skorik said. According to her, epidemiologists are examining the contacts of the infected citizen.
