A 15-year-old boy died in Sokhumi for an unknown reason. According to Abkhazian media, the deceased will be tested for coronavirus.

"An Abkhazian citizen, born in 2005, was admitted to the Republican Hospital on April 8. The patient was in a particularly serious condition with polyorgan failure. He was immediately placed in the intensive care unit of the hospital, but despite emergency treatment, he died,"- reads the statement released by the so-called headquarters against coronavirus.

The headquarters also added the child had serious chronic diseases.
