EU to provide EUR 183 million support to Georgia

The European Union will provide EUR 183 million to Georgia in struggle against the novel coronavirus pandemic.

DG for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations, European Commissioner Lawrence Meredith wrote on Twitter that the EU will allocate €80 million of immediate and €883 million of short term support to six countries of Eastern Partnership.

“EU is providing €80 million of immediate & €883 million of short term support to #Armenia #Azerbaijan #Belarus #Georgia #Moldova #Ukraine for #COVID19 outbreak,” Lawrence Meredith has tweeted.
