Strict quarantine imposed on several villages of Kobuleti municipality

Strict quarantine restrictions have been imposed on several administrative units of Kobuleti municipality, - Adviser to the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Chikovani, stated at a special briefing.

In particular, according to him, the restrictions have been imposed on the villages of Gvara, Mukhaestate, Legva and Tskavruka.

"Currently, we have 252 cases and several of them were confirmed in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara. These cases include a wide range of contacts and therefore we had to resort to special measures. Strict quarantine restrictions have been imposed on several administrative units of Kobuleti municipality, namely on the villages of Gvara, Mukhaestate, Legva and Tskavruka.

In addition to the restrictions imposed within the framework of the state of emergency, entry and exit to these administrative units is prohibited. Officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Defense Forces will control the execution of this regime. Citizens will be able to go out only when they need to buy products or medicine, or receive medical care. They will have the right to carry out agricultural works, if they adhere to the protocol specifically designed for such cases.
