UK's coronavirus death toll exceeds 10,000

The UK recorded 737 new coronavirus-related hospital deaths on Sunday.

"Today marks a sombre day in the impact of this disease," Health Secretary Matt Hancock said, as the UK's coronavirus death toll exceeded 10,000.

According to Matt Hancock, there are 2,295 spare critical care beds across Great Britain today, up by 150 from yesterday.

The most cases of death have been reported in Scotland and England.
