PM Gakharia attends meeting at Patriarchate

Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia has attended the meeting held at the Georgian Patriarchate on Monday evening, the PM’s press office has confirmed to InterPressNews.

Reportedly, Ekaterine Tikaradze, Minister of Health, and Amiran Gamkrelidze, head of the National Center for Disease Control, have also attended the meeting between the representatives of the Patriarchate and the authorities.

Amiran Gamkrelidze told InterPressNews after the meeting that the Easter liturgy was not an only issue discussed at the meeting. "The conversation was not only about the Easter liturgy. At the meeting with His Holiness, we discussed the current epidemic situation in the country and throughout the world, in general, ”said Amiran Gamkrelidze.
