PM discusses execution of state of emergency through video conference with heads of all regions

The Prime Minister of Georgia discussed the execution of the state of emergency in the country through a video conference with the heads of all regions of the country.

Giorgi Gakharia instructed the Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara and the governors of other regions to strictly control the strict observance of all restrictions.

The governors were also instructed by the head of government to constantly monitor the level of readiness of the so-called fever centers and clinics in the regions and their compliance with standards, in full coordination with the Ministry of Health. The importance of proper functioning of the government's hotline - 144 in the process of informing the population about restrictions was underlined during the conversation.

At the same time, in the coming days, the heads of the regions, taking into account the needs of each region, will present to the government their views about the economic facilities, the functions of which is a priority after the end of the state of emergency. Particular attention will be paid to the strict adherence to the recommendations issued by the Ministry of Health and public health specialists, otherwise the economic facilities will not be allowed to resume operation.

The head of the government stressed the special importance of the effective work of the heads of the regions in order to eliminate shortcomings in time and avoid any complications. The process will be coordinated by Sozar Subari, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Regional Relations. The head of the government will hold video conferences with the heads of the regions systematically.
