Ukrainian MP says Saakashvili will work in Ukrainian government “in a different format”

Davit Arakhamia, Chairman of the Serve the People faction of the Ukrainian Rada, said that Mikheil Saakashvili, former governor of Odessa, would work in the Ukrainian government in a "different format".
"Mikheil Saakashvili has been consulting President Zelenski for several days and they have found other format of cooperation – there will be a new position," Arakhamia told Ukrainian media, but did not elaborate on the position.
"This is an initiative of the President. We have enough votes to make a decision, but as far as I am aware, another decision has been made and the President has already agreed it with Mikheil. It will be announced soon, maybe later today, or maybe next week,” said Arakhamia.
According to Mikheil Saakashvili, the President of Ukraine offered him to serve as Deputy Prime Minister in the Government of Ukraine. However, later the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine reportedly withdrew the issue of appointment of Mikheil Saakashvili as Deputy Prime Minister from the Verkhovna Rada.
