Ukrainian Foreign Minister: Russia tries to imitate the Soviet regime and to justify its aggression against Georgia and Ukraine

Russia is trying to elevate the role of Joseph Stalin to justify its aggression against Ukraine, - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the victory in World War II.

He said Moscow was trying to rehabilitate a totalitarian state that will be run by one person.

"It serves to imitate the Soviet regime, to create an image of an external enemy and to justify their aggression against neighbors, such as Georgia and Ukraine, and to launch a hybrid war with many other states," Kulba added.

According to him, Russia's aggression against Ukraine, the occupation of Crimea and Donbass have been going on for more than World War II.
