Russian COVID-19 cases up by 10,028

Russia has confirmed 10,028 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, raising its total number of infections to 242,271, its coronavirus response center said in a statement Wednesday.

According to the center, 96 people died of the virus during the past day, bringing the number of the deaths to 2,212.

48,003 patients have recovered.
