Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia Archil Talakvadze claims the ruling team pays attention to the assessments of international partners and is ready to hold discussions with them.

As Talakvadze said in his interview with "Evening Newsroom" aired by “PalitraNews” TV, the calls that are not in line with the European principles are unacceptable for the Georgian government.

"Part of the opposition looks very weak when they call our international partners every time and fill our friends abroad with letters. We, of course, pay close attention to the assessments of our friends. We are ready for any substantive discussion with them. And another part, who make the statements that are incompatible with European principles, for example, Mr. Kubilius directly called us for the political intervention and to give instructions to the court, such appeals are naturally unacceptable. We urged the European structures to send a fact-finding mission in order to study the case, which was the subject of the biggest disagreement and to determine whether the decision was fair or not,” Archil Talakvadze said.
