Russia records 10,598 new cases

Russia on Friday reported 10,598 new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus, bringing the total number of the infected patients to 262,843.

Russia's coronavirus taskforce said 113 people had died over the last 24 hours, bringing the official death toll from the virus to 2,418.

As for the recoveries, 58 226 people have recovered.
