Georgia’s Health Minister : My Armenian counterpart’s statement was groundless, we plan communication with him

Minister of Health of Georgia Ekaterine Tikaradze responds to the statement of the Minister of Health of Armenia, saying Arsen Torosyan's statement was groundless and raises some questions.

The Minister noted that communication with the Armenian Minister of Health is planned.

“We have repeatedly communicated via telephone since the epidemic began. If he had any questions, he could use this method of communication and we would answer all his questions. The fact that the results of the Georgian healthcare system are not doubtable is confirmed not only by the numbers that are in Georgia today, but also by all the assessments that we hear from the public. Therefore, some doubts and questions arise related to my colleague’s statement. We plan to communicate further with him to discuss this issue in detail,” the statement reads.

According to the Georgian Health Minister, citizens in Georgia are tested mainly using the PCR tests and “all our statistics are accurate.”
