PM congratulates Muslims living in Georgia on Ramazan Bayram

The Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Gakharia, congratulated the Muslims living in Georgia on the holiday of Ramazan Bayram. Giorgi Gakharia met with Muslim clerics at the Government Administration today. InterPressNews was informed about this by the Government Administration.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized the centuries-old tradition of peaceful coexistence of citizens of different ethnic and religious groups in Georgia.

"We are honored to have the opportunity to congratulate our Muslim citizens on the Ramazan Bayram. It is a day of reconciliation, warmth, love and caring for each other. We have a long history of joint service to this country. We are all children of Georgia and it has been like that for centuries, we all serve this country and most importantly, we respect our faith, this is the most important thing for us. Therefore, I would like to once again congratulate all Muslims on this great holiday - Ramazan Bairam, ” the Prime Minister said.

Muslim leaders of Georgia have thanked the Prime Minister for his assistance to the Muslim community in recent years.
