Restaurants to fully reopen from June 8

The government of Georgia has allowed restaurants to restore all their services nationwide as of June 8, Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia stated about it today at the meeting of the Interagency Coordination Council on COVID 19.

According to him, hotels and intercity transport will also be opened from June 8.

"It means that the restaurants will be able to be fully reopened. From June 8, hotels will also be opened, only those hotels that will be inspected by the relevant agencies of the Ministry of Health and will have a specific permit. Intercity transport will also resume its work. These steps have been taken, first of all, due to the interests of our citizens, taking their social and economic interests into account,” said Giorgi Gakharia.
