Brazil reports 1005 deaths and 30 830 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24h

Brazil confirmed 30 830 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 645 771 - reports CNN based on the Ministry of Healthcare of Brazil.

The broadcaster also reports that 1005 more people have died of coronavirus in the country, bringing the total number to more than 35 000.

For the record, according to Johns Hopkins University, Brazil passed Italy in terms of COVID death toll two days ago and became the third most affected country in the world after the United States and Great Britain.
