A verbal confrontation took place between the member of the Alliance of Patriots of Georgia, MP Emzar Kvitsiani, and a family that resides in Kvitsiani's former house.

According to the current reports, MP Kvitsiani went to the house that he owned years ago but which is currently a property of the Metreveli family. The situation got tense once Kvitsiani arrived at the place - which led to a verbal confrontation. One of the members of the family called the police; however, Kvitsiani had left the site before the police arrived.

Later on, Kvitsiani posted a comment on the incident on his Facebook page.

"I have photographed all the corners of my house before Saakashvili and Okruashvili would land it to culprit Metreveli! On the day of the remembrance of the souls, I've visited the place from which I had carried out my deceased mother - however, I was encountered with the group that is indulged by the State Security Service", - wrote Emzar Kvitsiani.

The Internal Affairs Ministry has told InterPressNews that they are in contact with the Metreveli family.
