German Foreign Office representative welcomes Georgia's decision to lift travel restrictions with 5 EU member states

A welcome step towards normalization of travel regulations with all EU member states, - wrote Michael Siebert, German Foreign Office Director for Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia, on his Twitter page.

"Georgia has announced lifting of travel restrictions for Germany and four other EU member states, France, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania! A welcome step towards normalization of travel regulations with all EU member states", - wrote Siebert.

For the record, according to the Coordinating Council's decision, Georgia will open its borders without any conditions to 5 countries, namely, Germany, France, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
