Archil Talakvadze: The country will need special attention and mobilization against coronavirus in the future too

According to the Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, Archil Talakvadze, the country will need special attention and mobilization against coronavirus in the future too.

As Talakvadze stated at the plenary session of the parliament, the situation in the country is stable.

"Unfortunately, the coronavirus situation is not improving around the world, the number of infected people is also increasing. The situation remains stable in our country due to the preventive measures and systemic responses being implemented by the government with the legislative support of the parliament of Georgia. The number of cases is not high, the number of recovering cases is increasing, and fortunately, the number of deaths has not increased recently.

I would like to thank the Ministry of Health, all doctors, nurses and representatives of the allied services, who work on a daily basis to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the country. It seems that we will need special attention and mobilization in the future too. The Ministry of Health, the Center for Disease Control and other services will need to continue making efforts to keep the situation safe in the country," Talakvadze said.
