According to the medical director of the Infectious Diseases Hospital, Marina Ezugbaia, the source of one of the 4 new cases of coronavirus infection is unknown.

As she told reporters, all the other three cases are imported cases.

“Out of 4 new cases, 3 are imported cases, 2 of which are truck drivers, while 1 tested positive in the quarantine area. The source of the 4th case is now being examined," Ezugbaia said.

4 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Georgia during the last 24 hours, bringing the total number to 1003, stopcov.ge reports. As for the recoveries, their number has increased by 3, reaching 873.

5640 people are under a 14-day mandatory quarantine while 244are under observation in hospitals. 15 people have died of the virus in the country. 31 citizens of Georgia have been transported to the country from abroad for treatment.
