Ilham Aliyev sacks Foreign Affairs Minister

President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev has sacked the Foreign Affairs Minister, Elmar Mammadyarov, - reports the local media.

According to the same sources, Aliyev has signed the dismissal today. President appointed Jeyhun Bayramov as FM who held the position of Education Minister beforehand.

For the record, Ilham Aliyev has recently criticized now-former FM. According to President, he couldn't find the head of MFA at work on 12 July.Elmar Mammadyarov had been holding the FM position since 2004.
