Village Karajala in Gardabani Municipality placed under lockdown

According to the decision of the Coordinating Council, the quarantine restrictions have been activated in Karajala village, Gardabani Municipality.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the entry-control points have been set up in the village. The MIA also noted that the secondary roads which lead to the village will also be under control by permanent monitoring mobile groups. In addition to manpower, drones will be used for monitoring purposes.

"The employees of MIA will be intensively patrolling in the village in order to ensure public order and safety. The law enforcement employees are providing the information to the public about quarantine restriction and in case of need will provide as much help as possible", - reads the statement.
