Pre-trial detention has been ordered for a police officer, who ran over a juvenile.

The car accident occurred a few days ago near the village of Aragvispiri, as a result of which a minor died.

According to the Prosecutor's Office, the investigation established that on July 26, 2020, the inspector-investigator of the Dusheti District Division of the Mtskheta-Mtianeti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Lado Pridonashvili, who was drunk, ran over a pedestrian, minor L.Z., near the village Aragvispiri. The child died while being taken to the hospital.
