The number coronavirus cases in the world has surpassed 23 million, while the number of deaths has exceeded 800 000. According to Johns Hopkins University, the virus has so far infected more than 23 205 000 people, and more than 804,000 of them have died.

According to the same data, the number of recoveries is nearly 15 million.

The US remains the most affected country in the world, with more than 5.6 million cases of the virus and more than 176 000 deaths. The US is followed by Brazil, with 3.5 million infected, and in third place - India, where the number of coronavirus cases amounts to 3 million.
