The officers of the Patrol Police Department detained another person within the frames of the ongoing investigation on the fact of the physical confrontation in one of the bars located in Tbilisi, - reports the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

"As a result of operative-search and investigative activities carried out in connection with the mentioned criminal case, another employee of the same facility was detained – R.Ch. (DoB 1978).

Committed crime envisages from 2 to 4 years of imprisonment.

Investigation established that the accused person, along with three other bar employees, who have already been detained by the Patrol Police Department, verbally and physically abused the guests of the bar. As a result of the incident, two individuals - I.F. and I.G. (DoB: 1986) received health damage and were provided with relevant medical aid.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of intentional damage to health of two or more persons committed in group (sub-clause “c” and “d”, part 2 of the Article 120 of the Criminal Code of Georgia). Herewith, operative-investigative actions are being held in order to identify new circumstances and detain other persons possibly related to the mentioned criminal case", - reads the statement.

For the record, the injured Iviko Pruidze published a post on the social network Facebook in which he discussed the story that took place in the bar. According to Pruidze, he was asked to pay for 25 cocktails instead of 5, which he protested - what was followed by physical abuse against him by the bar security guards. As Pruidze states, a total of 6 individuals physically abused him.
