Two villages in Tsageri municipality were closed down. In the villages - Orbeli and Lajana - movement is restricted from today.

According to the governor of Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti, Giorgi Makarashvili, the reason for the lock down was the increased number of coronavirus cases. Seven new cases of coronavirus have been reported in villages today. The testing of the population has begun.
