MIA has launched an investigation into the shooting at the Rugby Union

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation into the shooting at the Rugby Union.

As InterpressNews was told in the Ministry, the investigation is underway under Articles 118 and 236 of the Criminal Code, which, respectively, implies illegal purchase-storage-carrying of weapons and damage to health.

The shooting has taken place today at the Rugby Union. One person was injured. According to InterPressNews, the shot was allegedly fired by the vice-president of the Rugby Union, Merab Beselia. As it became known to the agency, the injured individual is a rugby player.
