The number of pregnant women infected with coronavirus has increased in Batumi maternity hospital.

According to doctor Nugzar Papava, the facility is treating 12 pregnant patients infected with coronavirus, one of whom is 38 weeks pregnant. The health condition of all of them is stable.

"We have four new pregnant women infected with coronavirus. One of them is 38 weeks pregnant. Fortunately, all of the patients are asymptomatic and their health condition is satisfactory”, said the doctor.
