Global coronavirus cases surpass 31 million

The total number of people infected with the coronavirus in the world has exceeded 31 million, - reports Worldometers.

According to the same data, the number of recoveries has exceeded 22.6 million, while the global death toll amounts to 961 000. The number of active cases exceeds 7.4 million.

The US remains the most affected country in the world, with more than 6.9 million cases of the virus. The US is followed by India, with 5.4 million infected, and in third place - Brazil, where the number of coronavirus cases amounts to 4.5 million.
